I just got back from the whirlwind that is the Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida! If you're a pet lover, this is the place to be. Imagine a convention hall filled with the latest innovations in pet products, and the most adorable animal influencers you've ever seen. My phone is overflowing with pictures of fluffy, four-legged celebrities and I will share a few of my favorites with you.
Wearing my Pilots To The Rescue flight suit to conferences has become a bit of a trademark for me, and it's a great conversation starter. This year, I even had someone tell me they used to wear a flight suit just like mine…at space camp!
I enjoy attending trade shows and events to learn, grow and develop relationships with corporate brands to expand the mission of Pilots To The Rescue. I caught up with Stacy Kisla, the Senior Director of Marketing at Hartz, a sponsor of Pilots To The Rescue and David Rosenberg from Stella & Chewy’s, a premium pet food company that has sponsored us in past years.

Being in Orlando at Global Pet Expo was a welcome respite from my busy everyday life in Brooklyn, NY and in the air on rescue flights, but it’s good to be back home. The connections I made in Orlando, the insights I gained, and the joy of seeing so many passionate people dedicated to animal welfare has inspired me. We fly to save lives and I am looking forward to continuing our work as Pilots To The Rescue celebrates our 10th anniversary.
