On Saturday, March 8th Pilots To The Rescue embarked on a critical mission to rescue 19 dogs & 7 cats from overcrowded shelters in South Carolina and bring them to safety in New Jersey and New York. These animals were out of time, but our pilots, Michael & MacKenzie, were ready to head to the skies and bring them to safety.
This rescue was a huge team effort with Saint Francis Animal Center working alongside Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, Happy Homes Animal Rescue, Eleventh Hour Rescue, Hudson Valley Animal Rescue & Sanctuary, Ulster County Canines, & Freedom First Rescue to give these pets a second chance at life. Even Michael’s son, Luke, joined to help show these animals the love they deserve!
Luke was so excited to join his Dad and "Top Dawg" pilot Michael on this special "Birthday Mission." We certainly
can't think of a better way to spend your birthday than Saving Animals!
