Dogs from Dallas head to New Jersey for a New Chance at Life

February 26, 2025

Our last rescue mission for the month of February was one for the books—and we completely fell in love with Adelaide! Found alone on the side of the road with a severely broken leg, sweet Adelaide was rescued by a kind-hearted volunteer. Unfortunately, her injury was so severe that her leg had to be amputated just last month. But even after everything she’s been through, Adelaide’s gentle spirit shines through. After everything she’s been through, this sweet girl still radiates so much love, resilience, and joy and she is ready for a new loving family!  It’s truly inspiring to see how dogs like Adelaide adapt and thrive even after losing a limb. Nothing holds them back from embracing life!

Alongside Adelaide, 11 other amazing dogs made this life-changing journey with us from Nashville, TN to Philadelphia, PA for a second chance at finding loving families. Huge shoutout to our incredible Pilots, Paul Mamauag & MacKenzie Brendlen, and to our partners Dallas Pets Alive & Animal Welfare Association.

And if you missed it—our mission was featured on CBS News in Philadelphia and NBC News in TPlease watch the full segment Here and see these pups on their journey to a brighter future.  Click here to see the segment on NBC News in Nashville.
