PTTR Joins Forces to Honor Fallen Hero

February 2, 2025

Our mission on February 2 was a mission of profound significance as we honored the legacy of the late pilot Seuk Kim, whose unwavering dedication to animal rescue continues to inspire us all. Seuk tragically lost his life in a plane crash on November 24, 2024, while transporting rescue dogs to safety.

In his memory, PTTR Pilots Jason, Bruno, & Maria flew to Culpeper, VA to pick up 17 dogs and 8 cats from shelters including Heard County Animal Control, Bibb County Animal Control, Best Friends Humane Society of Worth County, Columbus Animal Care and Control Center, and S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue. They then flew these precious souls to Worcester, Massachusetts, where they were received by Wings of Freedom Animal Rescue, Live & Let Live Farm, and A Second Chance for Ziva.

This mission is made possible by our partners at Seuk’s Army, a coalition dedicated to continuing Seuk’s compassionate work of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. Together, we can turn heartbreak into hope and continue our shared mission that Seuk so passionately championed.
