Bobs from Skechers and Petco Love Help Save Pets
According to a recent report by Businesswire, Bobs from Skechers has now donated more than $7 million through Petco Love and other animal welfare organizations, helping to save and support over 1.3 million shelter pets in the United States and Canada.
Initially a philanthropic collection of slip-on styles that donated new shoes to children in need, the BOBS from Skechers movement has grown to help protect shelter animals through a diverse collection of sandals, sneakers, boots, and slippers, including collaborations with icons like Doug the Pug and James Goldcrown.
BOBS has also expanded beyond footwear to offer apparel and accessories, from tops and bottoms for pet lovers to adorable pet beds, scarves, collars, toys and harnesses at Petco.com.
For every BOBS item purchased in the United States and Canada, a donation of twenty-five cents USD per item of specially marked BOBS from Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories sold in the U.S. will be made to Petco Love. Formerly Petco Foundation, Petco Love is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that helps save the lives of dogs, cats and other pets by supporting a network of more than 4,000 animal shelters and animal rescues. The promotion runs from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2022.
